At various times, relevant commissions also work on issues which are on the profession’s agenda. The committees and commissions whose members are appointed by the Executive Board provide an opportunity and an environment for architects to focus on professional matters within the Chamber network and to carry out their tasks with the participation of other members.

Professional and Scientific Working Boards
Working Boards are established as a result of an urge to renew and improve the scientific quality of the accumulated knowledge and experiences of the Chamber. With the participation of qualified voluntary members and experts from other disciplines outside architecture, the intention is to systematize, activate and interrelate the collected information. In this way, the set out aims are to contribute to the development and renewal of the Chamber’s approach to professional policies; based on interaction with scientific disciplines to carry out learning and evaluation exercises with theoretical and/or analytical dimensions in its fields of interest; to follow the current national and international developments regarding our profession; to contribute to the development of a professional training environment and finally to sustain a continuous democratic and autonomous institutional structure.
